Leave Rules
“The things that have been most valuable to me I did not learn in school”
No leave of absence is granted except on previous written application from parents or guardians and that too for valid reasons.
In case of absence without leave, the student on returning to school must produce the leave application duly signed by the Parent/Guardian. A student returning to school after a contagious or infectious disease should also produce a doctor’s certificate that he/she is free from infection. On failure to produce such a certificate, the School Authority is entitled to send back the student.
All are expected to attend school on the reopening day after each vacation. Children of classes I to X who return late without prior leave application will be fined Rs. 10/- per day of absence. Those absent due to illness should present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class. Absence for more than 10 days without a leave application will lead to the pupil’s name being struck-off the rolls. Re-admission, if granted may be done on payment of a Re-admission Fee.
Leave required should be noted in the columns provided for leave along with the reason by the parents and submitted to the Principal for approval before the attendance is taken.
Late coming is totally discouraged.
