Sacred Keeper of the Gardens
St. Therese of the Child Jesus,...
...popularly known as the "Little Flower" was born in Normandy, France, on January 2, 1873, the ninth and last child of Louis and Zelie Martin. She was baptized Marie Frances Therese Martin.
Three months after her fifteenth birthday, she followed several of her sisters into the Carmelite Convent of Lisieux. She took for her motto in life the words "Love is repaid by love alone." She had a great devotion to God as Father and to the Child Jesus and His Mother. Her great patience under severe suffering and her constant trust in her loving Father in heaven were her outstanding virtues.
Because of her evident holiness, she was commanded by her sister, who was then prioress for the Carmel, to write her autobiography. This famous book, "The Story of her Soul", has been read by millions of people in the years following her death. Her "Little Way" of spiritual childhood complete surrender to the love and power of God was the key to her own holiness and to her spiritual influence in the lives of countless others searching for the secret of sanctity. After only eight years of cloistered religious life, she died at the age of twenty-four, on September 30, 1897.
The Little Flower was canonized on May 17, 1925. St. Therese has been declared the patron of the world-wide missions of the Church. Her feast day is October 1st.

Little Flower Higher Secondary School is continuously in the process of upgradation. It is important for all the stake holders to keep in touch with the developments, the facilities and the achievements of the school. The digital age opens many avenues of communication, website being one of them. I am happy to know that a new website of the school is being launched. This is a facility for all the well wishers, alumni, parents and students to keep in touch with the school. I wish and pray that the school progresses in its service to the people of Indore specially to the less privileged.
Bishop Chacko Thottumarickal SVDIt is my privilege to write a short message for the Website of Little Flower Higher Secondary School. We live in a world of amazingly fast, instant and high-speed exchange of information and knowledge. And also we can make use of the technological advantages for the development of our school, staff and students. For students of little Flower too, past and present as well as the many well wishers of this great and noble institution, the quick and immediate access to the school website can bring their beloved Little Flower closer to their hearts wherever they might be in this beautiful world.
I take this occasion to congratulate the principal, staff, students and parents for their strong sense of commitment, service and responsibility that has transformed this institution into an outstanding and significant temple of learning today. Little Flower has tried its best to excel in all departments of its students` growth. The specialty of this institute is that it has made quality education accessible to all, thanks to the highly motivated staff and the availability of quality infrastructure.
I pray that the Almighty God continues to bless this school as well as all the members of the Little Flower family, including the students, parents, and all those associated with this institution.
God Bless you !
With regards,For us at Little Flower Higher Secondary School, it is a constant endeavour to provide the best quality education.
“You can teach student a lesson for a day, but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he/she will continue the learning process as long as he/she lives”.
Down the ages our concept of education has undergone a gradual metamorphosis. Yet the intrinsic values and principles have generally remained unchanged. Education isn’t how much you know. It’s the empowerment that differentiates between what you know and what you don’t. It is with this vision that Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Indore has forged ahead with a mission to hone and integrate the personality of all students under its fold. The curriculum is the focus of our attention, and we work hard to ensure that is age-appropriate (not only in content but also in its sequence), that it is student sensitive and it is meaningful (an approach that is multi disciplinary and hands-on). It includes field trips, excursions, life-skill programs, and a variety of activities. The curriculum is developing confidence in the parent and the student.
Our supportive and nourishing environment values each student as an individual. We enable our students to develop all attributes and skills for lifelong learning, initiative and excellence, confidence and self esteem, discipline and dedication, integrity and honesty and creativity with imagination. To support our efforts, parents can play a very important role. The school’s goals are aligned with that of parents’ best interest of the child. For this it is useful that parents lend their cooperation and understanding to the school. The child’s education is an investment for his/her future. Keeping this in mind we have introduced E-Care facility in the school as we believe that in the fastest and better communication. We strongly believe that involvement of parents in child’s progress and development is very important and for that parents need to demonstrate trust and respect for the school, its staff and its matters. The more positive the school – parent relationship, the more secure a child will feel.
There are a number of opportunities for interaction. Please participate in the school access days and PTSM. Encourage your child to participate in all school activities and complete home assignments sincerely. Communicate with the teacher for any concerns you have regarding progress. Read the school diary carefully, it will help you to understand the policies and procedures of the School. Fill out the information accurately for it will help us to help your child. It will always be my priority that the quality of education maintains the highest standards in our school, and am sure I can count on your support at all times.
God Bless you !

With regards,When opportunities knock, don’t let your fear hold you back. Open the door and embrace the opportunity that has come forth.
Little Flower Higher Secondary School gave me one of the biggest opportunity to be the Head Boy of this prestigious school & I feel very lucky & thankful to this school to make me live my dream of being the Head Boy. For the past seven years of my life I have seen this school giving opportunities to students, guiding us, encouraging us, believing in us & our talents & helping us to shape up our personality.
I would like to dedicate my success to my parents, teachers, my fellow students and our caring Principal Rev Fr. Irudayaraj Antony who always supported me and motivated me even in the darkest hour of my life. This is definitely the best moment till date that I would cherish throughout my life.
The best thing about my School is that along with academic excellence, it pays equal importance to sports, recreational activities, various skills & co-curricular activities.
The School has a lot to deliver to you. It is up to you how you take it. The School will give you many opportunities to come forward and show the world what you have but still choice will be yours. So always grab every opportunity that comes to you because this school is the greatest platform you will ever get to perform.
Thank you,
Aman BindSchool is a temple of learning. It is a building which has four walls with future inside. Every passing year has brought me closer to this School. During my last five years at Little Flower I have been privileged to experience a vast array of new opportunities that have helped me to become the independent, aspiring student.
Little Flower is a well respected establishment within the surrounding area. The School provides an excellent learning environment to all students. There is very friendly environment in the school campus. The Teachers & students work together and prove that our School logo ‘Love One Another’ is followed.
“No man will make a leader who wants to do it all himself or get all the credit for doing it.” It is indeed an honor for me to represent a school that I believe gives every pupil the opportunity to shine.
Many people would perceive the role of Head Girl as one with great power over others. Being a Head Girl, I promise to give all my services selflessly in the best possible way I can. I look upon this position as opportunity to encourage fellow LFHS towards great involvement in School activities, motivate them to use the platform of various opportunities provided with both zeal to learn and spirit to excel.
Getting an opportunity to be elected for such a responsible post would have been impossible without our beloved respected Principal, Rev Fr. Irudayaraj Antony, a man of wisdom & knowledge & my all respected teachers who are always ready to guide us through the journey of life.
At last but not the least, I can only commit that I will give my best to keep up the dignity of responsibilities bestowed upon me and contribute the share of my services to the share of my services to the School. May the Almighty God bless us all.
Thank you,
